HVAC leads from people asking for an HVAC company right now
Hodorak finds HVAC leads in public posts: homeowners asking who to call for a furnace, AC or heat pump, or whether the quote they got is fair. In one 72-hour window we counted 130 of these requests on Reddit and Facebook. They are people asking now, not a list of contacts you buy.

A small sample: 5 X keyword searches, each read back to the start of the window, with 21 posts inside it. None was a request: jokes, complaints about a broken AC with no question, and car air conditioning.
How we counted: Window: 30 Sep 2026, 01:00 – 3 Oct 2026, 01:00 (UTC). We read 1,365 posts written in the window: 6 subreddits and 5 Reddit searches, 12 Facebook searches and 2 public Facebook groups, and 5 X searches. We read every post in the window and judged it against one written definition: someone with a heating or cooling need at a home or property they own, rent, manage or help with, who asks for an HVAC company or a quote, asks whether a quote or a diagnosis is right, or asks which system to buy for a job they are about to pay for. Left out: HVAC company ads and offers, job posts, talk between HVAC professionals, DIY questions with no plan to hire, car air conditioning, and jobs a provider was already handling. A person who posted the same request twice counts once in the number of people.

We have a big job at our house and want one company, or a few, to take it on: take out the old diesel furnace, put in a high-efficiency propane furnace and a tank, replace the old central air and add mini splits in three rooms. Licensed and insured, working in our area, able to start in the next few weeks. Recommendations and quotes are welcome.
Why it fits
A defined replacement job with a start date and an open call for quotes: the kind of work an HVAC company bids on.

Keyword searchQuestion before buying
We need a new furnace. A company that already did good work in our kitchen quoted almost three thousand less than everyone else. Is the brand on that quote a warning sign by itself? We just moved here, so personal recommendations are hard to come by.
Why it fits
They are choosing between furnace quotes now and have no trusted local name yet.

Keyword searchAsks another business
Can anyone suggest an HVAC company that keeps its appointments? I only need a furnace tune-up, and three companies in a row have not shown up or called me back. I took time off work every time.
Why it fits
A small job that is ready to book, where simply turning up on time wins the work.

Our AC would not run last night. Can anyone recommend a good HVAC company nearby? I called the one I usually use, but I doubt they can come out today.
Why it fits
A repair needed today, and their usual company may not make it.

SubredditAsks another business
Two years in this city and I still have no HVAC company I trust. Each time something breaks I search online and hope, and the last two companies sent techs who contradicted each other about the same part. Which company do people here stay with for years?
Why it fits
They want one company to keep for every future repair, not a one-off visit.

Keyword searchQuestion before buying
Can anyone recommend an HVAC company that offers financing and can replace our AC and furnace for under 20 thousand? Every quote so far has been between 20 and 25 thousand. Or is that simply the price now for a house our size?
Why it fits
A full system replacement at the budgeting stage: a clear quote with financing answers it.

Six weeks ago our AC started blowing hot air while set to cool. After a leak search, a repair and a refrigerant refill from two different companies, it is doing it again. If you can recommend an HVAC tech able to find the real cause, please send me the name.
Why it fits
They have lost faith in the companies they tried and are asking for a different tech.

SubredditProblem
Water is pooling under the water heater and spilling into the tray that the whole HVAC system sits in, and I cannot tell where it comes from. I emptied the tray and shut off the water line. I am calling someone first thing in the morning; what should I do until then?
Why it fits
They have already decided to call a pro tomorrow, so a helpful reply tonight can lead to the visit.

Any HVAC recommendations? I think our AC quit yesterday, and with two little kids at home I want someone to check it before the weekend, ideally without a huge bill.
Why it fits
A repair with a deadline this week, from a parent who wants a fair price.

Questions about this use case
Short answers about the requests, the sources and how you reply.
No. Hodorak does not sell contacts or shared leads. It shows you public posts from people asking now for an HVAC company, a quote or a second opinion, with a link to the original post, so you answer in the same conversation.
How do I get HVAC leads from Reddit and Facebook?
Add the places and searches where homeowners ask. In our window, most Reddit requests were in r/hvacadvice, and the Facebook requests came from searches such as "recommend hvac company", "anyone know a good hvac" and "need a new furnace". Hodorak then shows you the posts that fit.
Are these free HVAC leads?
The posts are public, so you could search for them by hand. Hodorak does the searching for you: it reads your sources regularly and shows only the posts that fit your business, with the reason. It is a paid plan, and Pro starts with a 7-day trial.
What kinds of HVAC requests will I see?
In our window: people asking who to call, which was most common on Facebook; quote checks before a replacement, most common on Reddit; urgent repairs when an AC or furnace stops; and maintenance such as furnace tune-ups and duct cleaning.
How many HVAC leads will I get?
It depends on the sources you add, the area you serve and the season. Our 72-hour window found 130 requests, and the daily count rose as the heating season started. That is one measured window, not a forecast.
Does it find HVAC contractor leads for commercial jobs?
When the request is public, yes. In our window we also counted a warehouse owner asking for quotes on gas heaters, an apartment complex looking for a maintenance company, and a general contractor asking for HVAC bids on a new building.
How do I turn these posts into HVAC customers?
Reply soon and be useful. Hodorak suggests a reply you can edit; you open the original post and answer from your own account, following the group or subreddit rules. Hodorak never posts for you.
How much does it cost?
There are two plans, Pro and Max, paid monthly or yearly. The price summary is on this page, and every limit is on the Pricing page.
